"Sweet Spring Success" Make & Take

Last weeks Creative Challenge on the MemoryWorks message board started with a chat session amongst the consultants. Games were played, tips were shared, a good time was had by all, and don't forget the prizes too! Tuesday was the birth of Business Challenge #3 (Boost Your Biz-Marketing Tips/Q&A). And on Friday was a make & take created by Mary Konow. This cute treat/goodie bag would make great party favors for any kind of a party. So here is Mary's project:

"April Creative Challenge Make-n-take Friday 4-17-09 With “Sweet Success” being the theme this month, I thought what better make-n-take than a little goodie bag for your customers! You can use little baggies and fill them with candy or use individually wrapped candy and attach with adhesive. This can be used for any occasion besides our business and it’s very inexpensive. You can attach your business card on the back or inside.
Supplies: Double sided patterned paper (one sheet will give you 5 goodies “bags”), Hole punch or Crop-a-Dile, Ribbon or string of your choice cut to about 12 inches, Paper or silk flowers that coordinate with your paper, 12x12 trimmer with a scoring blade, Adhesive of your choice, Pen to write a sentiment, or stamp and ink



Step 1- Using your trimmer, cut your paper to large strips measuring 9 inches x 3 inches
Step 2- Measure 4 inches from each end of the paper and score the paper with the scoring blade. This will leave a 1 inch “gap”



Step 3- Fold both sides up together and using the hole punch or Crop-A-Dile, punch 2 holes at the top about an inch from each side and a half on inch from the top. Place adhesive near the holes (but not on the holes) and adhere candy of your choice.





Step 4- Adhere flowers to front and string ribbon through the holes. Tie a bow around the flowers. You can decorate the front to suit your needs and occasion. I used a “thanks” stamp from last year’s Autumn Leaves line. The paper is from Fancy Pants.

Isn't this a cute idea?! Now to show some of the other cute projects that some of the consultants have made for the challenges so far. First project is by TeamWorks member Susan Frazier. This cute project was created for the "Out of the Box" Challenge (Challenge #4). To decorate the wood flowers, Susan used Amercian Crafts Backyard Theme Set and Cosmo Crickets Girl Friday Chip Letters.



And the next project is from Independent Consultant Susan Nichols. She made this cute card for the "Spring Card" Challenge (Challenge #2). Susan used the following products to make her card: 3 Bugs in a rug - Butterfly Kisses theme set; Prima Flowers - Morning Song; Fancy Pants - Daily grind buttons; and Random Spring acrylic stamps.



So there are a couple more projects from the challenges that are going on in the MemoryWorks message board. There are many other cute projects as well. So check back next week and hopefully these projects have inspired you to make something nice as well.
