15 Days of the Holidays - Day 7

Hello!  Christy Musack - TeamWorks Member here for day 7
of the 15 Days of Holidays event.

I got a head start on my album this year, knowing how busy the month of December can be.

I went with an 8x8 album to give room for photos and bit of creative elements too.  I wanted a book with an easy-to-assemble format. These top-load pages allow me to slip my album pages in-and-out and move them around as needed as I develop the book.

Keeping it simple during the assembly will allow me to go back and add more elements including the numbered days after the holidays - once my photos are developed.  I also kept to supplies in my stash (for the most part).

My cover features Simple Stories, Studio Calico, Jenni Bowlin, October Afternoon (mostly existing product from my stash) and a bit more:

Up Close:
I spritzed with Mister Hueys, added washi, twine, a doily, shipping tag
and even a paper clip-

A look at some of the pages inside:

Be sure to stop back tomorrow for Rosann's 15 Days of the Holidays project.
Happy Friday!

Challenge Me Wednesday

Hello!  Christy Musack - TeamWorks Member here for
"Challenge Me Wednesday"!

This months challenge on the Studio site for Consultants is:
"Let's see the new stuff"

Who doesn't get super anxious to purchase the newly released products to begin creating with?

For this challenge, I selected the new Simple Stories "Take a Hike" line.  I'm working on a mini 10x6 vacation album full of instagram prints from vacation.  This line is perfect!

 Always on the Go!

In addition to "Take a Hike", I added Bella Blvd and MME washi tapes, Studio Calico wood veneer stars, a doily, twine and some Mister Hueys.

 Ribbit:

Again with this layout I used products from the "Take a Hike" kit.
I do {heart} this collection!
Also used: Bella Blvd and MME washi tapes, Studio Calico wood veneer stars, heart, boy shapes, cloud punches, button, twine and more Mister Hueys.

Check back next Wednesday for more inspiration from our
TeamWorks members!

Hello!
Christy Musack - TeamWorks Member back to share more cards!

Oh hello:

Just a simple little every day "hello" card.
This card was created with Simple Stories "Summer Fresh"
I love all the colorful/playful papers in this kit.
I trimmed various patterns at different lengths, creating pennants with some too.

 Today we celebrate you:

I used this Bella Blvd "Birthday Boy" line last week for a card I shared.
This line is super fun.    I used 3 of the Bella washi tapes to create pennants, raised with pop dots and hung from Doodle Bug twine.
I added a few Studio Calico wood veneer stars.  They compliment the pattern paper perfectly.

I also added some Mister Huey's in blue and orange....
I like to spatter most everything with Mister Huey's!

Thanks for visiting!

Card Crazy Saturday

Hello!
Christy Musack - TeamWorks Member here!
Today I'm sharing a couple Bella Blvd cards....

Wish Big & Eat Cake:

This is the brand new "Birthday Boy" line from Bella Blvd - I just love it!
All elements of this card are Bella Blvd products with the exception of the "&" Thicker. The coordinating washi tape makes adorable pennants with true birthday flair.

 Grateful:

This card is created with the Bella Blvd "Finally Fall" line.
I absolutely love Fall and that's no exception to Fall paper lines with warm colors.  This card has lots of layering with hand stitching on a kraft card base.  A couple of the pennant stickers are adhered behind the wood button and wrapped with twine.

Thanks for visiting!
Stop back next Saturday for another edition of Card Crazy!

Inspiration Friday

Hello again, and Happy Friday!

Today I'm back to share my favorite line from the current MemoryWorks catalog, along with a 12x12 layout I created.

I absolutely love this "Charming" line from Echo Park.  The wood grain and vintage camera elements in this line drew me right in and I knew I had to create with it!

It is the right amount of masculine to use for my 8 year old son and all of his totally boy endeavors - like the one I'm sharing here today.

Here's a look at the paper theme pack and element stickers:

Here's what I created:

In addition to the Charming line, I also used Bella Blvd yellow chevron washi tape and Studio Calico wood veneer cameras from the current catalog.

Up close look:

Be sure to check out the "Charming" line from Echo Park - available here
from your MemoryWorks Consultant.

Have a great weekend!

Inspiration Friday

Happy Friday!  I'm Christy Musack - TeamWorks Member, stopping by today to share a bit about myself, my scrap style and a layout I created.

I started scrapbooking nearly 15 years ago – now it is my passion, addiction and creative outlet.  I love to play with patterned paper and embellishments of every kind.  Scrapbooking allows me to capture the story of day-to-day events of my family in an creative way that pictures alone cannot.  I love to mix and match products from all my favorite companies.  My creations are mostly 12x12 layouts with occasional cards and altered projects for gifts or make and takes for crop events.  I love to create with earthy tones, lots of embellishments and a spattering of Mister Huey’s.  My signature also includes inking on every page or project.  I joined MemoryWorks as a Consultant in October 2006 and I'm so excited and honored to be part of the MemoryWorks Team for the second consecutive year.

This layout incorporates some of the things I mentioned above (ink, Mister Huey's, earthy tones).  It is created with a KI calendar page, a bit of Jillibean Soup Apple Cheddar, along with some newer elements to my stash: Bella Blvd washi tape and Studio Calico wood veneer heart.

I'll be back next Friday to share more, in the meantime, you can also find me here:

Have a great weekend!

Challenge Me Wednesday | Leap of Faith

Hello!  Christy Musack, TeamWorks Member - here to share a layout created for Janey Pumphrey's "Leap of Faith" challenge over on the MemoryWorks Studio.
I wanted to put a light-hearted spin on my layout.  It features my daughter taking a leap of faith right off the back of our wave runner into the lake this past summer.

I used the Simple Stories "100 Days of Summer" kit.  This includes papers and some of the sticker elements outlined in white pen.  I also used two of the Bella Blvd wash tapes and added decorative punch elements to my layers.  I finished it off with a little white ink spritz.  Viola -

Thanks for hosting this months challenge Janey!
