- Place the stencil of your choice on the layout. I taped mine down with Washi Tape on 4 sides, so it wouldn't slide around.
- With a embossing (I used clear) inkpad, dab at the stencil to cover the whole thing (or even just a portion of it.
- Remove stencil and put clear (or color of your choice) embossing powder on the stenciled area.
- Heat set with a heat gun.
- Have fun inking. The stencil will resist!
- I did spray the paper with water before I put the stains down, this way it helped move the Distress Stains around the page.
- Layer on distress stains of your choice, spray with more water and move the page around to let the ink slide.
- Place a paper towel over the inked area to soak up the wet ink. Use a heat gun to dry (if you are impatient like me).
And here is the final result! I used a picture from last year that I found in a stack of "pictures to be used" and layered on the Amy Tangerine papers and embellishments. I also added a few embellishments from the Studio Calico -- Sun Drifter collection.
BONUS: I should mention is that at the bottom of the Amy Tangerine paper there is the stripe of paper you cut off with the information. Well that strip has some great patterns and designs to use for your projects! I used the arrows under my title from one of these strips!
