Please join me in welcoming our newest Guest Designer, who will also be a member of the 2012 MemoryWorks TeamWorks design team!
Happy Holidays everyone! I’m Jody Spiegelhoff and so excited to be your guest designer this month. What can I say? I love to scrapbook! I started out stamping and making cards in 2003, thanks to my BFF Jenn Bennett. My obsession for patterned paper, ribbon, ink and all things scrappy quickly grew and now has its own scrappy corner in our home. My favorite scrapbook models include our 5 daughters and my husband. Yes, that number is correct, FIVE daughters age’s newborn to 13. As you can imagine, I have lots of inspiration.
I’ve been a Memory Works consultant since 2006 and enjoy being a part of this community. I love the variety of products that MW offers, along with the networking found on MW Studio. When I’m not playing Super-Mom or scrapbooking, you can also find me on my blog, http://spiegelmom.blogspot.com
I hope I can inspire you to stop and take some “me time” to create this holiday season. Here are a few of my latest projects to help jumpstart your creative juices.
I used the letter stickers as a mask and traced around them to achieve this fun look:
I used Ranger's Glossy Accents to cover the Elementary Letter Stickers:
The text paper circles were punched from a real Webster's Dictionary that I picked up at Goodwill for 50 cents! I just used corresponding words that helped enhance the meaning of the layout. I inked the edges and over the text paper slightly with Color Box Chalk in Creamy Brown.
Thank you for checking out my projects. I hope you stop by next week for a tour of my scrappy space. Happy scrappin'! Jody
