If nothing else, my space is a testament to really sturdy wall shelves, and the awesome-ness of the Cropper Hopper vertical organization products carried by MemoryWorks. People who see my scrap-corner comment on how MUCH I have in my space. I'm able to store a lot of cardstock and patterned papers in a small space using these 12x12 holders. I store many of my patterned papers by manufacturer, and theme set, using these 12x12 paper files with dividers.

Note that I store my patterned paper holders on their side to make it easy to just pull sheets out while I lazily sit in my chair. I store my scraps in these 12x12 Scrap Storage Holders. I have one for patterned scraps and one for solid cardstock scraps. (Since they come in a 3-pack, I also have one for patterned scraps from the current Memory-Works catalog theme sets - helps me keep my business papers seperate to use for samples, etc).
It's not revolutionary, by any means...but I use baskets and buckets and plastic drawers to hold my miscellaneous tools, flowers, buttons, stamps, journaling items, punches...etc. More recently, I've found some "vintage" bottle holder boxes that I'm using to hold my ink pads and my most-often-used items. They're fun to look at, but also functional.

I change things up from time to time. Most recently I upcycled the white magazine holders (from IKEA) in the photo above...they had been holding my old scrapbooking magazines...but are now holding my 8.5x11 and 8x8 papers. They work great and were super cheap! I also recently decided to sort and store my ribbon in clear jars. I love how it adds color to my desk and makes it much easier to find the color I need!
So, I'd love to know...what's your favorite organization item in your scrap-space, scrap-corner, or scrap-closet, or scrap-drawer??

I am blessed with an entire room in our ministry house (a mile from our farm house). I recently had an organizer come do my space. She put all my rubber stamps in big plastic drawers. I work for Stampin Up so I have loads of rubber stamps. I like having them all in one place. I have seven sets of drawers all labeled so I'm a happy camper.
Sarah, I love your space. What is important is that it is functional - and you sure have that!! Thanks for sharing your room!
That is amazing!! Seriously! You have packed so much in your space and it's all at your finger tips! I think a space is has to be tailored to an individual using it -not to a trend or anything. I LOVE the idea of having your paper lay the other direction so it's easy to grab and I SERIOULY need to find (or build) some of those crates - those are AWESOME!
my favorite items in my space are my Target bins! love'em and can't wait to get an Expedit to properly display them! :)
Thanks for sharing Sarah... It is always fun to see what everyone does with their space. Mine is always a work in progress, but so grateful to have space.
Turning the paper holders on the side is such a great idea! I will be doing this too. I like to repurpose wire baskets, new and vintage, to hold my supplies. They are sturdy and allow me to see what is there. thanks for sharing your super-organized space.
I think this is a great space! You're organized, its all in reach...and its not the kitchen table...I'm in! :)
