Day 17 30 Days, 30 Cards

                                    What?!?  Day 17 already?!?
         Have YOU been playing along?

That's right, it's more than half-way through the month and if you have been playing along you have 16 great
hand-made cards ready to send to your favorite family and friends.  Cuz it's too much work to send them to just anyone.  ;)  Time to make another.

Jenn here with the Day 17 sketch from Mojo Monday:

And my card:

I went to my trusty My Mind's Eye Vintage Christmas 6"x6" paper pad, added some ribbon and brad.  Easy-peasy.  Now it's your turn.  Remember, there is a prize so make your card, and link it up here.
Then mail it to a friend!  That's what I'm going to do with all the great cards I've made this month.  Have fun!

Day 16 30 Days, 30 Cards

Hi, it's Gia with your Day 16 card sketch from Becky Fleck's Page Maps. This sketch caught my eye because I am super into the ViewMaster trend right now and wanted to make a card including one!

I hope you like how I "Glitzed" it up ! I love the Hello December line from Glitz Designs. I used the View Master reel from one of the new Simple Stories chipboard collections. I hope you will link up a card. Next week I will be back with another cute sketch and Hello December card sample! See you then:)

Day 13: 30 Days, 30 Cards

Wow… I can't believe we are already on Day 13!  What amazing cards we have from the MemoryWorks Design Team right?  I hope everyone is enjoying the inspiration and are also taking on the challenge of making all the cards.
Today, I thought I would share with you a sketch I found on Cardabilities!  Here is the sketch…
Using the Simple Stories Handmade Holiday's 12x12 paper pad, I was able to come up with my take on the sketch.
First, I started with cutting white card stock 4 1/4 x 11 1/2.  I then folded the card stock in half to make the card.  Next, I spritzed a chevron mask with Glimmer Mist for the background.  I used my die-cut machine to cut edges and borders from the papers and the holly for the front.  I then inked the edges of everything and went to town layering all the papers.  I also made a pocket so you could add an invite as I did or perhaps you would want to add a gift card!  As you can see, I've added baker's twine and ribbon to the tag as well.
To finish off the card, I added pop dots to the holly to lift it off the page.  I also used a white pen to give the berries a little dimension.

I hope you have enjoyed my little bit of fun and come back tomorrow as our Talented Team Member Sheri shows us some more inspiration!
Keep on Scrappin'

Day 11~30 Cards, 30 Days

Bring on more cards, I say!

Hi everyone, Jody here with more card inspiration for you.  This month is flying by, so I hope you've been creating along with us so far.  Remember, you can create and link up anytime before November 30th for your chance at a fabulous prize from Memory Works!

Let's get on with it.. here's my sketch.

And here's my card!  I altered the sketch a little and used a standard size card, 4.25 x 5.5 inches, instead of a square card.  I layered several of the Fancy Pants Merry Little Christmas papers from the 6x6 inch pad with foam adhesive to add some dimension.  Next I added the chipboard buttons along with other embellishments from my stash!  Overall, this was  pretty quick card to create.

I posted some additional close up pictures on my blog today{SpiegelMom Scraps!}.  Please stop over to see some more!

Thank you for spending another November day with the Memory Works Design Team 2013!! Don't forget to link up the cards you create by going HERE... so far there's only one person linked up.  Get going paper crafters!
