A New Year – A NEW Technique!

Happy New Year Everyone! Why not start the new year with a new technique? Who said scrapbook supplies had to go on pages and into albums? I, for one, am an advocate of showing off your talent for others to enjoy around your home. Your memories don’t always have to go in albums…

This is a home décor project I completed- it’s much simpler than you’d think!
Here is the supply list:

Fancy Pants Happy Together Theme Set (FP045)
Fancy Pants Happy Together Tags and Titles (FP054)
Fancy Pants Happy Together Journaling Cards (FP052)
Color Box Fluid Chalk Cat’s Eye – Dark Brown (CS012)
Button (previous express kit)

Other:
Hand stained hoop
Ribbon
Thread
Chenille cream flower
Crop a dile and copper eyelet
Ranger Mini Mister

Project Instructions:
Trim patterned cardstock of your choice to 10x10 inches.
Using a mini mister or any spray bottle, spray paper with water to soften then crumple in a ball to create wrinkles.

Ink paper as desired and let paper dry.
Place in hoop being careful not to rip edges of paper. Tighten screw to secure paper in hoop. Cut access paper on back of hoop.

Embellish with journaling cards and a small picture, just as you would a scrapbook page. Blend the hoop into your home decor for all to enjoy!

May your 2011 be happy, healthy and full of wonderful memories!
Happy Scrappin!
