Product Showcase: Simple Stories Flowers

When it comes to scrapbooking and card making, Simple Stories makes the process easy and fun. With the additional digital elements, the Simple Stories line is endless. Just take a look at the flowers I made:

I printed the digital elements, cut out the circles, fringed and inked the edges with an American Crafts Memory Marker:

Then I adhered Petaloo Flowers to the circles, attached strips of paper leftover from my Simple Stories Life Documented Kit and curled the edges of each strip:

After making five flowers, I added them to my scrapbook layout, along with some digital elements word strips:

I also wanted to make a birthday card for a loved one and used the same technique on the flower, but made it simpler:

For this Simple Stories flower, I punched out the center of a digital elements circle, adhered smaller strips of paper from my Simple Stories Life Documented Kit and once again, curled the edges of the strips:

What's really cool about the digital elements is that they can be printed in various sizes. Here are the smaller circles I shrunk down before printing and you can compare it to the normal (100%) sized circle:
