Inspiration Friday - Sheri Feypel

Hi! I'm back with another week of Inspiration for you! This week I was supposed to choose my favorite line that Memory Works carries. I have so many favorites that it was hard to choose just one, but I managed to narrow it down for this post. So, I chose the new Aweso{me} line by Simple Stories. Being the mother of boys, this collection is right up my alley. I have a teenage boy and a younger boy and sometimes it is difficult to find a product line that works for both age groups, this one is definitely a winner in my book. Check out the layout that I created....

Original Prince Charming
I wanted to incorporate all of the patterns from this line and I may have gotten a little crazy with the punches.

Take a closer look..
All of the stickers in this kit are perfect creating titles for your pages!

Here is a peek at the collection pack....

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend!!

Challenge Me Wednesday | Leap of Faith

Hello!  Christy Musack, TeamWorks Member - here to share a layout created for Janey Pumphrey's "Leap of Faith" challenge over on the MemoryWorks Studio.
I wanted to put a light-hearted spin on my layout.  It features my daughter taking a leap of faith right off the back of our wave runner into the lake this past summer.

I used the Simple Stories "100 Days of Summer" kit.  This includes papers and some of the sticker elements outlined in white pen.  I also used two of the Bella Blvd wash tapes and added decorative punch elements to my layers.  I finished it off with a little white ink spritz.  Viola -

Thanks for hosting this months challenge Janey!

I'm back for another week of cards! This week I scoured the MemoryWorks MW studio gallery for some inspiration and found this mini album page from Tammy C.  I love the use of her pocket and thought that would be darling on a card!!
Here is the card i created from the inspiration above.  I used the new My Mind's Eye Dilly Dally Theme Set.

Inspiration Friday- Sheri Feypel

Hi, my name is Sheri Feypel and I am so excited to be on TeamWorks  for another  year! I started scrapbooking about 7 years ago and joined MemoryWorks a few years later. My scrapbooking style is not defined, it’s sort of go with the flow-ish. Sometimes I like to “junk it up” with lots of embellishments and other time’s I like to keep it “clean.” It all depends on my mood.  My boys are the main subject of most of my scrapping, sometimes my husband or the dog grace a page. Besides for my MemoryWorks business, I am also an instructor at my local scrapbook store where I teach card making and layout classes. I am also the co-host large crops and weekend scrapbooking  retreats  with a friend. I also enjoy taking photos and exploring all that my camera can do.  When I am not scrapbooking  you can find me hanging  out with my family, blogging, shopping  for scrapbook  supplies or doing laundry

Today I have a layout to share with you, check it out....
October Afternoon In The Park
I used Simple Stories Year-o-graphy for this layout. The stickers in the line are amazing! So much to choose from and very versatile.

Take a closer look...

I hope I have inspired you today, Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Guest Designer Thursday- Carol Norby

Welcome back for another week with Carol Norby. This week Carol has a quick tutorial to share with us. Remember back a couple of weeks ago when Carol shared a Double Diamond Fold Card? It was pretty cool, and she is sharing her how to right here! Check it out....

Cut cardstock to 4" x 12". Score on the 2", 4", 8", and 10" lines as shown on template.

Step 1. Fold as shown here.

Step 2.

Step 2B

Carefully mark the 6" spot on both sides and score on the diagonal as shown.
Score on the diagonals as shown on template.  Fold to look like Steps 2 and 2b.

Decorate as desired.

As my students have discovered, this card is very easy to make.  And can fit easily in an invitation envelope if embellishments aren't too large.

This is the card that Carol made a few weeks ago for the blog.....

Thanks Carol for the tutorial on your card!
