Creative Friday - Katie Skiff

 

Katie Skiff has been with MemoryWorks since 2007, mostly keeping her own hobby supplied. She loves the wide variety of companies that MemoryWorks supplies to customers. She has been crafty as long as she can remember, but started scrapbooking shortly before her oldest was born. Since then, it’s evolved into rubber stamping and card making, but she also likes to quilt and sew in her spare time. Recently, Katie designed a niche in her living room, just for holding her scrapbooks. Katie lives in a small town on the Montana Hi Line, with her husband and three kids and a new dog that will probably be featured on a few layouts to come. She is extremely excited to be part of the team and further share her love for MemoryWorks.

 

Hi Everyone - I am excited to be here sharing with you on my first Creative Friday post.    I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I'm still working on my Christmas photos. 

My favorite line ever is My Minds Eye - and I love that MemoryWorks carries the line.  Most of my projects usually have something from MME.  This layout uses the All is Bright Theme Set from MME.  I used the lined papers for the background, and added the fun patterned papers around the layout. 

 

These are photos of my three funny kids.  They were actually excited to do this for me this year!  I titled the layout Outtakes and used American Crafts Thicker stickers for the title. 

 

I also pulled some of the fun Chipboard shapes from the 12x12 Chipboard sticker sheet for accents. 

 

 

I used more papers from this Theme Set on this layout as well.  Normally, I don't have layouts with only one photo, but I love this photo of my son at our Church program.  It needed it's own layout. 

 

 

  I added a doily from a local craft supply store, and accents from the Chipboard set. 

 

I am looking forward to stocking up on some new My Minds Eye products this month with the new releases coming. Keep your eye on our New Spring/Summer section of the website.
