Inspiration Friday

Hi everyone... it's Janey again!  I promised I'd be back to share some of my favorite products with you.  If you haven't guessed by now, I'm a big fan of the MemoryWorks Express Kits, layers and ink.  So each month I look forward to receiving my kit and seeing what I can create with it.  Even though I wasn't assigned to be on the Express Kit this month, I wanted to share with you a layout I made using this month's kit.  I printed off my photos in "photo-strip" fashion.  I try to get more than one photo on a page because I can't just take one photo :)

In the kit this month was plain card-stock, BasicGrey letters, papers and die-cuts from My Mind's Eye, stickers from October Afternoon, and star paper from Heidi Swapp.  There were a few other embellishments from the kit, as well as a few odds and ends from previous months' kits.  With the help of my die-cut machine, I cut out the camper, s'mores, a few signs and the campfire.  I rolled a few small pieces of card-stock to make logs for the fire.  I tore paper and inked everything with the Tim Holtz inks and GlueDots adhesives to create the look I wanted.  I also ran the top plain blue piece through my crimper.  What a great page as a reminder of our recent camping trip.  Enjoy!

It's not too late to sign up for a subscription to your monthly MemoryExpress Kit.
Happy Scrappin'!

Beautiful! I love all of your little touches: the little pennant, the rolled logs, and the crimped paper:)
