Creative Friday - Favorite Product

I'm back! This week I will be sharing my favorite product that MemoryWorks currently carries. It was hard to make up my mind on WHAT my favorite product was, but I kept going back to this darling line by Lily Bee Design. Head over Heels is perfect for not only Valentine's projects, but every day projects as well!

I'm addicted to 6x6 paper pads. I love working with the size for everything from cards to 12 x 12 layouts and mini albums. I actually used a 6x6 paper pad for the project I'm sharing today.

Hand Cut Hearts

I flooded this layout with hearts and Tattered Angels mist. Here are a few ideas to add to your layouts or cards.

I made a weaved element for the page by cutting 1/2" strips of pattern paper and weaved it together.

 I also hand cut hearts to attached to the layout. I had a good time cutting out these hearts and layering them together. I folded a piece of pattern paper in half and cut my heart, I was okay with the crease being in the middle so i could pop the hearts from the page.

I also used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to add some color to the piece of cardstock. I used 3 different shades of pink / coral on the cardstock.

You may notice in the image above that there is a 6 x 12 strip of pattern paper on the background. I used 2 matching 6x6 pieces of pattern paper to make 1 long 6 x 12 strip. See why I LOVE 6x6 paper pads!?!
